Why registering a membership?
If you are member, you have all features of this site, e.g.:

- Private Messages (to exchange non-official informations)
- Searches for contents or persons (colleagues, business partners)
You can stay absolutely anonymous or party anonymous (eg just enter your job) or you fill out your profile complete, so that others can find you, and what is recommended. If you like to write articles in the forums, it would be better to tell in your profile wheather you are master, nautic officer, technical officer, engineer, bosun, cook, seaman, etc. so that others can valuate your information and to avoid to repeat your introducings.
